Town Clerk

The office of the Town Clerk is historical in its traditions, serving as a direct link between the residents and their local government.

While Town Clerks are generally credited with issuing licenses, that is only a small part of this complex job. The Town Clerk is a:

• Public Relations Officer,
• Recording Secretary to the Town Board,
• Records Management Officer,
• Filing Officer,
• Licensing Officer,
• Election Coordinator,
• Cash Control Officer and
• Registrar of Vital Statistics.

Office Hours

The hours of the Town Clerk's Office are 8:00 am to 12:00 pm and 1:00 pm to 4:00pm Monday through Friday, except holidays.
